Friends First: Staying friends after saying "I Do"

This group is a continuation of last semester's group, but new members are welcome! We will meet in various locations for fun group dates, as we learn to keep the friendship alive within our marriage relationships. There will be some cost for outings. Times and locations will be discussed and announced for each meeting. Begins Sept. 18th.

Join together with other like-minded couples as we walk through a study together that will strengthen our marriage relationships. Everyone goes though tough seasons in their marriage. Together, we will learn tools necessary for a happy, healthy marriage. Begins Sept. 11th

The Book of Acts: Bible Study pt. 2

The book of Acts tells about the time period after the resurrection of Christ, including the Day of Pentecost, and the persecution that spread the Gospel throughout the world. This group will explore what Scripture tells us about the person and purpose of the Holy Spirit in the days of the early church as well as in our own lives.

Divorced: Now What?

For anyone who is divorced or going through divorce, there are so many feelings and questions. Gather with others who know the struggle, as we walk through a study based on the book "Living Unbroken", by Tracie Miles. This will be a special time to get to know one another and to deal with the feelings surrounding your current situation, and to realize that God sees you as a special, valued woman. Will be held at the home of Ms. Glenda Swearingen.

Whisper: How to hear the voice of  God

The voice that spoke the Earth into existence and parted the Red Sea still speaks to us today. Often, God speaks to us in a whisper; not to make things difficult, but to keep us close. This study, based on Make Batterson's book "Whisper"will teach you how to recognize and hear God's voice more, so that He can guide you in the simple, everyday decisions, as well as the big ones.

The 7 Myths About Singleness

We are often led to believe singleness is a negative thing, but singleness is a gift and blessing from God. Join us as we learn to think Biblically about our calling as singles within the body of Christ. You'll be encouraged to take hold of the unique opportunities singleness affords and to find your role in the Kingdom as a whole. Based on the book, "7 Myths of Singleness" by Sam Allberry.

Do you struggle with he need to be in control? Letting go of life's situations and letting God take control is harder than it sounds. In this study based on "Letting God and Living Like Jesus", by Barb Roose, we will explore 6 principles that will equip you to let God lead you to victory despite your circumstances.
